SLAM Algorithm Engineer

Develop robust VSLAM and VIO systems for real-world robotics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize Visual SLAM (VSLAM) and Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO) algorithms based on stereo fisheye cameras and IMU sensors.
- Design robust real-time 6DoF tracking systems for portable robotics and data collection devices.
- Perform multi-sensor calibration, including camera-IMU calibration and time synchronization.
- Improve robustness in challenging indoor environments, including dynamic scenes, weak textures, lighting changes, and rapid motion.
- Collaborate with robotics and data teams to build reliable real-world data collection platforms.
- Optimize localization and mapping performance for embodied AI applications.
Qualifications
- A deep and genuine passion for Embodied AI is essential.
- Master's degree or above in Robotics, Computer Vision, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of SLAM, VIO, state estimation, sensor fusion, and 3D geometry.
- Experience with modern SLAM frameworks and visual perception systems.
- Proficient in C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and robotics software stacks.
- Experience with real-world robotics deployment and sensor integration is highly preferred.
